One year ago today I went to the Dr for my weekly Dr visit. I remember it like it was yesterday when she walked back in the room after she had checked the C-section schedule to tell me to be at the hospital the next morning at 5am. Oh my gosh, my time had finally come to meet the baby I had been carrying for 9 months. I remember calling Bryan and just crying on the phone to him telling him I am going to be a mommy tomorrow. I called my mom and cried on the phone to her, I called Alicia, Leslie, Jennie, Holley and Julie and well I called everyone I could think of to tell them the time had FINALLY come. I rememer Bryan was going to be gone out of town working until late that night and I would be home by myself. I was an emotional basket case hoping and praying that everything would run smoothly. Little did I know that tomoorow I would be a mommy to the perfect little baby boy!!!
We have had a busy day today. We were supposed to get pictures taken tomorrow but there is a 90% chance of rain so we rescheduled for today. We left and headed to met the photographer at Aldridge Gardens where she took some really good pictures of Christopher. When we left there we went to Hobby Lobby, Alabama Power and Publix. I was planning on making his birthday cake for his party Saturday but after the "practice" cake I made yesterday it was best that I just go ahead and order it. We came home and Christopher took a much needed nap and I have been stuffing goodie bags and getting things around the house straightened up. Tomorrow we have a fun filled day planned celebrating his real birthday.

That last pic of him sleeping is just precious...oh I only wish K2 would still curl up in a ball in his crib...if you think the first year went fast...wait until he's 4 and you hardly remember him being a baby! Then you WILL cry! Ah...but it is such an awesome journey! Enjoy it and soak it up!
