Happy Birthday Party Day!!!

We had Christopher's 2cd Birthday party today and we had such a good time. We celebrated with good friends and family. We had the party at our house and fixed hot dogs (wrapped in bacon), spinach dip, Texas Caviar, chicken ball, chips and dip, cheese squares, grapes, rice krispie treats, cake and ice cream. Needless to say we have lots of all of that left over. We waited until everyone left to open presents b/c last year it was CRAZY while opening presents. Christopher got lots and lots of cars and he was in heaven. He played so hard and after out friends left Monica and Ella Claire stayed longer to hang out. Ella Claire and Christopher played so well together. I love to see them play together and wish we could get together with them more often. Monica and I played catch up since we haven't seen each other in a long time and the kids played and we just had a great day.

Christopher loves MEOW...... but

Meow doesn't love Christopher. Our cat is mean as a snake and Christopher loves him to death. There have been a few times that I have found Christopher laying on the steps either above or below the cat, and today I finally got some pictures of it. Shortly after these pictures were taken there were hisses heard by all and a cat flying through the house to get outside.

Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year. Chad and Maggie asked us to come to Tannehill State Park with them for the Halloween Festival. It was GREAT. They had allkinds of activities for kids to do. We brought a grill and grill hotdogs and hamburgers, roasted marshmallows, fixed coffee on the hood of the truck, played with Puddin (dog), trick or treated, rode a pony, rode a train, played on the playground and had a fabulous day. He was sooo tired that he fell asleep in the wagon in the middle of trick or treating. Christopher did so good all day long. He started getting a runny nose that morning but was a trooper all day.

Pumpkin Carving

On Thursday Christopher and I carved our pumpkin or should I say Christopher played in the front yard while I carved the pumpkin :) Here are some pictes of him on the front porch with out pitiful pumpkin.

Mommies Little MONSTER

We have had a filled week so far of HALLOWEEN FUN. On Monday we went to Gymboree to play. Christopher had a good time with the bubbles and Gymbo the clown. Today we had a Halloween party to go to. Both of them were dress up in your costume events and beleive it or not Christopher wore his costume the whole time. He looked so cute and his costume is sooooo appropriate.

Fall Festival

Christopher and I headed out to a fall festival at one of the local churches today and had a good time. He played games and won some prizes, we rode on the hayride a couple times and the big highlight was Christopher rode on his first pony. I was really shocked that he did this but the man in charge asked if he wanted to ride and he went from my arms to his arms and onto the horse. I thought he might go nuts once the pony took off but he stayed on, didn't cry and I think he wanted to ride again.

Cherub Clubhouse

On Saturday Christopher and I had some running around to do to get ready for his bday party. There is a new place that is open right by our house called the Cherub Clubhouse and it is the neatest place. We went for the grand opening and Christopher had a blast. He played with the cars (imagine that) and the balls and had a good ole time.
