Baby shower/ I'm 5 months old

Well today we went to Briana's baby shower. I guess I have been bragging about how good Christopher is and it has caught up with me because he was NOT SO GOOD TODAY!!! He took a small nap before we left and after about 4 hours I finally had to put him in the car and ride down the street to get him to go to sleep. Then he only slept about 30 min at the most. I do not know if it was so many people, or is he is getting more teeth or me bragging about him is catching up, or it may be the fact that he was dressed up and he does not like being dressed up. Whatever it is, he fought sleep all day long. I could not get him to sleep, Debbie tried, Jennie tried, Heather tried and some lady we don't know tried and he was not having it I thought he would sleep on the way home but he did not and it is now almost 9:30 and he is in his pack n play and I can hear him playing. Who knows but here are some pictures from our day. Check out Travis' face it is priceless. Christopher turned 5 months old today it is hard to believe it has been 5 months since he was born. :(

GOOD TIMES

Today Ella Claire and Monica came to play and we went to the consignment shop where I just put my clothing (by the way they have already sold a dress!!!!!!) They were doing handprint art so we took part. It was quite messy and Christopher now has a shirt that when we left the house was white and when we got home it was yellow. Anyway, we had fun and I can not wait to get back the finished product. I know it is going to be precious. After we did that we went and had lunch and then did a little shopping before Aunt Jennie got here to change clothes for a wedding that she has to go to. Fun Day

Wow, we have had such a fun and busy day today and Christopher has been the perfect angel. We had lots of running around to do and then I went and got a pedicure. I was worried about taking Christopher not knowing if he would get hungry or tired of being in his carseat, etc but he was an angel, not to mention the ladies in the nail place thought he was so cute. After we left there we went to Target and he again was perfect!! He was so good he got a prize (see photo). This is going to go to the beach with us this summer when we go with Alicia and Hadley. Isn't he precious? We also got our pictures back from JC Penneys and they really are cute.

hanging out

We have not done too much of anything today. We did have to venture to Hoover to check out some fabric. We came home and sat on the back porch and read Horton Hatches the Egg that the Easter Bunny gave us. Now we are just hanging out watching American Idol and waiting for daddy to get home with dinner. We have a very busy day tomorrow-we will pick up our pictures that we got taken a few weeks ago and have several errans to run and we have to go get a baby gift for our new addition "Baby Benjamin"

Busy Day

Wow we have had such a busy day today. We started off by going to the Helena library for story time. I was a little worried at how Christopher would be but he was perfect. He watched the kids do the obstacle course and the parachute and smiled at everyone that talked to him. We left there and ran some errans to some places that have said they would put my clothing items in their stores. I am pretty excited about this and hope that they get some things selling now I have to get to sewing. We came home and called Maw Maw and she taught me how to make chicken and dumplings because that is the one thing that I have fixed that Bryan will not eat. But he sure ate it tonight:) Christopher looks more like his daddy today with his blue jeans on check him out.

Lazy Sunday

We got up bright and early and went to Church today and Christopher and I came home and took a nap. When Bryan got home we sat on the back porch on our new patio furniture and this is what happened....(See Bryan in photo)

Christopher is trying to sit up on his own so we practiced that today and he did really well. Since he is teething he puts everything in his mouth and gets so mad when it does not fit. We hope that everyone had a great weekend and have a great week. We have several fun things planned for this week. :)

A day at the park

We have sort of stayed close to home this week so on Thursday we decided to go to the park here in Alabaster. It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine but the whole park is shaded and we were the only ones there so it was very nice. Christopher swang in the swing with me and then I put him in a bucket swing by himself and he really liked it. I will know next time to take some support for him.
