stir crazy

We had the carpet cleaned today so Christopher and I were confined to the kitchen all day. Needless to say we are enjoying some clean fresh smelling carpet. Christopher has also learned to grit his teeth. It is pretty funny.

Aunt Leslie

We will be sad to see Aunt Leslie go tomorrow. She came to visit us on Fri and stayed until Mon. She is now going to Atlanta to visit her friends. Hopefully she will come back and visit us soon.

Stokin the Fire

My sister is in town for the weekend for the 4th annual Stokin the Fire. It is a Bbq competition that my nephew is in every year. This year he got 1st place for his chicken and 5th place overall. We have been out there all day enjoying friends, family and or course YUMMY BBQ. Christopher even had a little taste.

Night Night

Well after 9 months of Christopher sleeping in our bedroom we have come to the point where he has to get in his bed. After going to the pediatrician the other day and telling her what was going on with Christophers sleeping patterns her first response was "he has got to get out of your room" It was very hard on me and not so hard on him. I kept thinking he would have a hard time with it and I kept going in to check on him and he was always fine. I would come back in the den and cry my eyes out. He did wake up a few times (3) and would cry for maybe 2 minutes and go back to sleep. He slept until 9 oclock this morning whild I have been up since 7:30 waiting for him to get up so I could just hold him. I am glad he did so well last night but it also breaks my heart at the same time. When he got up this morning and I went in there to get him I balled my eyes out again. I know this is what needed to happen but I was not ready for this happen right now. I guess this is the first of many milestones for me to accomplish.

Dr Stats

We went to the dr today for Christophers 9 month check up. He weighs 20 lbs and 14 oz and is 29 inches long. He also had to get 2 shots and his finger pricked. I think I cried more than he did. After we left the dr we went to Wal Mart and got him some finger foods and some new sippy cups. It is hard to believe that he can start eating finger foods now.

9 months old

It is hard to believe that 9 months ago my little angel was born. It makes me so sad to think that in 3 months he will be 1. What am I going to do? I had plans of us doing something fun today and maybe getting a prize at Wal Mart or something but we went to visit Bryan at his new shop where Christopher enjoyed playing in a box with a set of keys. I ended up having to get 4 new tires today so Christopher and I spent 2 1/2 hours at the tire store. Christopher had enough can you tell?

Good Bye Gray

On Sunday we went to my brother and sister in laws house to have a farewell dinner for my nephew Gray who is going away to college this year. He will be attending Alabama and will be going into nursing with the Army ROTC. They made homemade ice cream and it looks like Christopher enjoyed it.

HELP ME

Somehow Christopher found a way in between the legs of the bar stools. He is so CRAZY

Beach

On Thursday, we went to the beach to hang out with Baby Benjamin. We had a good time. I have been wanting to take Christophers pictues on the beach again so we did that on this visit also.

Baseball Game

While we were in Mobile my nephew Dalton was playing in a tournament to see if his team would be going to the Babe Ruth World Series. I took Christopher out to the ball park to watch his games. Unfortunately they are not going to the WS but they sure did play good. It was soooooooooo hot out there that I finally just took Christophers clothes off and let him just wear his diaper. (True sign that we live in Alabama)
